Caifeng Shan was previously a Senior Scientist and Project Leader with Philips Research, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He was also a part-time researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology. He received the B.Eng. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China, the M.Eng degree from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the PhD degree from Queen Mary, University of London. His research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition, medical image analysis, and related applications. Representing Philips he was involved in multiple European and Dutch research and innovation projects, for example, Marie-Curie fellowship. He has authored 150 scientific papers and 80 patents (with more than 10,000 Google Scholar citations). He is the recipient of the Invention Award of Royal Philips. He has served as Associate (or Guest) Editor for several scientific journals, including IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, IEEE Trans. on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, and IEEE Trans. on Multimedia. He has organized several international conferences and workshops, and served as Technical Program Committee and reviewer for numerous international conferences and journals.

单彩峰，二级教授、博士生导师，国家海外高层次人才，“长江学者”讲席教授。2001年获中国科学技术大学学士，2004年获中国科学院自动化研究所硕士，2007年获英国伦敦大学玛丽女王学院博士。之后在荷兰飞利浦研究院工作十余年，担任资深科学家和团队负责人，并兼任荷兰埃因霍温理工大学研究员。主要从事计算机视觉、模式识别、医学图像分析等方面的研究，先后承担多个欧盟和荷兰的研究项目，包括欧盟Horizon 2020计划 - 玛丽居里（Marie-Curie）学者项目、欧盟Horizon 2020计划 - ECSEL Joint Undertaking项目等。发表论文150篇（Google Scholar引用1万余次）、著作3本（Springer出版）、授权各国专利100余项（其中美国欧洲日本专利50多项）。荣获飞利浦公司发明奖，入选全球前2%顶尖科学家、飞利浦公司“High Potential”人才等。先后担任10余个国际期刊的编委或客座编委（包括多个IEEE汇刊），组织了多个国际研讨会。
